Tranzit Coachlines operates public transport services (urban services) for many regional councils around the North Island.
Our key partners include: Horizons Regional Council, Taranaki Regional Council, Waikato Regional Council, Bay of Plenty Regional Council and Greater Wellington Regional Council.
Our sister brand Tranzurban operates urban services in Wellington and Auckland and partners with Greater Wellington Regional Council and Auckland Transport, to deliver these.

Masterton to Palmerston North service
Three times a week, Tranzit operates a return bus service between Masterton and Palmerston North. This service runs on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
To book a seat or make an enquiry, please call the team at Masterton i-SITE on (06) 370 0900 or pop into the Masterton i-SITE at 10 Dixon Street in Masterton (opposite Queen Elizabeth Park).
Dannevirke to Palmerston North service
During school terms, Tranzit runs a special bus service between the Tararua township of Dannevirke to nearby Palmerston North.
While it is timetabled to suit school students, it is open to all members of the public.

| 4.10pm | Woodville Tennis Courts |
| 4.35pm | Dannevirke Town Hall – (drop off at Kumeroa Turnoff too) |
