We take great pride in transporting your tamariki/students to and from school safely. In some areas of Aotearoa, New Zealand we are contracted by the Ministry of Education to deliver school bus services, in other areas we are contracted directly by the school and in some locations, we partner with the regional council.
Did you know?
The Ministry of Education (MOE) sets all school bus routes and policy for school transport eligibility. For more information about bus routes, eligibility for your area, school bus timetables or pick up and drop off locations, please contact your school in the first instance.

North Canterbury
Tranzit is proud to deliver school bus services in the Selwyn and Waimakariri Districts. Our Tranzit Coachlines Southern team take registrations for the Town Run service which commenced on 7th February 2024. This service goes from Darfield to West Melton and into Christchurch and you can view the full timetable here.
Our CHC School run (DARTR AM and PM) will not be operating until Monday 6th May due to St Margarets/Rangiruru and St Andrews students having a 3-week holiday.

In this part of New Zealand, Tranzit also provides transport for school ski trips up and down the mountain. Contact Vernon and the team on 03 313 5453 if you require specific information about this.
We don’t stop at daily classes, though. Schools regularly use Tranzit buses and coaches to help transport children to and from school trips and camps, sporting events, and end-of-year functions.

Booking and cancellation times
Bookings open at 9am on Mondays and close at 1pm on Thursdays, or when the bus is full (whichever comes first). Note this is subject to change if there is a long weekend.
All cancellations must be received within these same timeframes in order to receive a refund.
To book, simply click the service you require from the three options below and follow the booking process which will be the same for each.
Full payment is required at time of booking, to secure your spot on the bus.
