Bringing smiles to faces
Bringing smiles to the faces of our passengers is important, but now and then our team go the extra mile and meet with teachers and pre-schoolers from local kindergartens and give them opportunities to take a ride in the bus. For many, it is there first time ever riding in a bus so it can become a very special moment for them.
For the last few years, our Wairarapa team has visited kindergarten children from Good Beginning day care to see the “big buses” up close, talk to our drivers and go for a ride around the block.
Earlier in May, we had a group of pre-schoolers visit the team at our depot. It was a great outing for them and great to see smiles ono their faces.
